German lady came forward to help mentally retarded students

Ludhiana: A lady from Germany Sharanjit Kaur who came to visit his son residing in Dakha felt the pain of the mentally retarded students and donated around Rs 7,500 to the students of Ekjot School for retarded students.

Managing Director of Asian Club Sukhminder Singh said that the lady visited them and asked if she could provide some help someone in the society. Replying to her query the members asked her to do something for the mentally retarded students.

Sharanjit Kaur knowing about the condition of the students went emotional and appreciated the work being done by the school for the students.

She was surprised to know that there were some of students who were not even able to sit and more than 50 students were there who lives in slums and the school provide them education free of cost.

Sharanjit Kaur while donating food items and some cash to the students said that further she will be donating something for the betterment of the students every year.
