NRI police arrest one for forcibly trying to sell plot

Jalandhar: The NRI Police claimed to have solved a case wherein some unidentified persons were forcibly trying to sell off a plot of a US-based NRI through fake property documents in Jalandhar and arrested the culprit.
US-based NRI Mohinder Singh, a resident of Maqsudan in Jalandhar had approached the NRI Police station in Jalandhar Commissionerate for justice. SHO NRI Police Station, Inspector Dalbir Singh said that accused Kulwinder Singh, a resident of Dhyan Singh Colony, Phagwara in Kapurthala had made fake ‘power of attorney’ documents and was trying to sell the plot of NRI Mohinder Singh in Jalandhar.
Inspector Dalbir said that accused Kulwinder was trying to sell the plot of NRI Mohinder, which was situated in Shakti Nagar on GT Road.
