Biz experts from US interact with students

Patiala : Two business experts from USA and one Professor from Germany on Sunday interacted with management students of Punjabi University in order to build their management skills and to prepare them for the challenges faced by the global business.

The School of Management Studies at Punjabi University is running MBA global business and MBA dual degree programme jointly with Wilkes University at Pennsylvania in USA for the last couple of years.

Abi Sharaf from Ford Motor Corporation, Detroit USA, made an impressive presentation before the MBA students and explained the success story of Ford Motor Corporation.

Woods Group Company senior IT manager Vijay Pratap, while interacting with the students, highlighted major developments in information and communication technology and its role in developing and managing global business.

He highlighted the role of cloud computing in managing global business.

University of Frankfurt professor Dr Ajit Singh during his interaction with the business management students highlighted the role of various soft skills and the need for developing a global business culture in India.

School of Management Studies head Dr G S Batra thanked the guests from the US and Europe for motivating the MBA students.

Washington : The Indian-American community in the US has urged the Trump administration to “fully support” India’s decision to revoke the constitutional provision that accorded special status to Jammu and Kashmir and to continue to exert pressure on Pakistan to end its support to cross-border terrorism.
