Punjab AAP suggests Akalis to ‘rest at home’

FATEHGARH SAHIB: Taking a dig at the Shiromani Akali Dal, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday said Punjab had suffered a huge loss during the past one decade due to SAD’s religion based politics.
Addressing the media, party in-charge for the upcoming assembly elections, Sunil Tomar, said both the SAD-BJP combine and Congress had caused considerable loss to the state, and corruption was rampant. “Everyone in the state, including farmers, employees and common man, are fed up with the anti-people policies of the state government. Despite all tall claims, the government is not doing anything for common people’s welfare.” Tomar said AAP would contest all 117 assembly seats, and party would make Punjab a model state if voted to power.
