Goindwal Sahib: 3 person has held for the deadly attack on the congress leader Prem Singh Minna, when he was returning to his home with family. The miscreants are identified as the nephew and grandson of the the Akali Dal member Prem Singh Pannu along with one more companion. According the source, they attacked by firing the bullets on them, fortunately no person got injuries. After the incident, the miscreants also did the fires in front of the Congress leader’s house and escaped from the spot.Attack on Congress leader, case registered.

FARIDKOT: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and mill owner Ramandeep Singh has been sent to Modern Jail, Faridkot, after an additional district and sessions court dismissed his appeal, challenging his conviction by a lower court in January 2017. Ramandeep, a former president of Truck Union, Faridkot, was jailed for a year after five cheques of around ₹2 crore that he had issued to Punjab State Civil Supplies Corporation (Punsup) in January 2013, bounced.
