PATIALA: A day after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal accused Amritsar member of Parliament (MP) Captain Amarinder Singh of fraternising with state revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia, Captain lashed out at Kejriwal saying he was behaving like “a frustrated anarchist who had lost his will and way in politics”.

Addressing a series of public meetings while campaigning for his wife and Congress candidate from Patiala Urban Preneet Kaur, he said, “Kejriwal has outlived his political life and is now desperately trying to show his relevance in politics.”

He added that Kejriwal and the AAP lost even the deposit amount at almost all the seats it had contested from as people had realised that neither he nor his party had any agenda, except staging dharnas even after becoming a chief minister. He further said that Kejriwal only abused people by levelling baseless allegations against them, even if meant going to jail.

Amarinder alleged, “Kejriwal is a compulsive and habitual liar and he has to spend some time in Tihar jail for his defamatory utterances.”

“Kejriwal’s dual character was revealed when he first tried to show his bravado by refusing to submit a bail bond, preferring to go to jail. But, within few days of staying in Tihar he pleaded for bail in the same court,” he said.

“You can fool some people for some time, but not all the people all the time,” remarked Amarinder asking the AAP convener to be cautious with what he was speaking, lest he ends up in jail again for criminal defamation.
