Kapurthala : Brutal killing of an innocent youth reinforces the fact, that there is no rule of law in Punjab, there is complete anarchy, jungle raj, and breakdown of constitution in the state, said

Bholath former MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira at Civil Hospital in Kapurthala on Monday.

He had been in Civil Hospital, with the family of deceased Roshan for the flawless conduction of post-mortem of the deceased. He alleged that police have been a hand-puppet of Akali Dal leaders and failed to nab the accused even after 24 hours of the incident , despite the fact that culprit was immediately identified by the villagers right after the incident occurred .

He warned the Kapurthala Police to nab these culprits within the next 24 hours otherwise he along with hundreds of villagers would be forced to stage agitation on national highways.

It is pertinent to mention that a Bhogpur-based financer Kuldip Singh along with his armed henchmen descended upon the village on Sunday afternoon to recover a small amount of money advanced to purchase a refrigerator and when a youth from Raipur village in Bholath subdivision tried to present the goons from indulging in abusing and beating up of

villagers ,these henchmen shot Roshan from point blank range in the presence of villagers and seriously wounded him who succumbed to his injuries at hospital in Jalandhar and breathed his last while these accused fled the scene, firing more shots in the air to dispurse the crowd.

Condemning brutal killing of congress worker Roshan, Khaira blamed Police for cancellation of arm licence of congress leaders in Bholath subdivision on the behest of Akali leadership while bad elements like Kuldeep carrying arm without any fear, he said.

Bolck Samiti member, Nadala and uncle of the deceased Stephen Kala demands action againt hospitals of SGL, Subhanpur and Sacred Heart, Maqsoodan for refusal to admit his nephew and not providing initial medical facility and his nephew lost his life due to excessive bleeding, he alleged.

Post-mortem of Roshan was conducted by a team of doctors amidst police security and dead body of deceased was handed over to the family after post-mortem proceedings as said DSP (subdivision) Bholath Mukesh Kumar, who said that different teams have been raiding places to hunt the culprits and he assured villagers that very soon culprits would be in police net.
