Cong leader blasts SAD, BJP for fighting over NOC

Amritsar: District Congress committee Rural president Gurjit Singh Aujla blasted the state government and BJP cabinet minister over the issue of No Objection Certificates.
Aujla said that NOCs for the sale and purchase of residential and commercial landed properties has become the key to the business in Punjab; however the internal tussle between Akalis and BJP has dashed the hopes of the residents and traders. He said that the cabinet had approved the issuance of NOC over a month ago but due to a petty folly by an Amritsar based BJP leader, the Badals have imposed a dictatorial ban on the notification.
He said that trading of land had become one of the most flourishing trades in Punjab but due to the reign of Badals the traders are under huge debt burden.
