Badal insulting PM’s Adarsh Gram Yojana: Bhagwant Mann

SANGRUR: Reacting to chief minister Parkash Singh Badal’s statement that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP from Sangrur Bhagwant Mann can’t bring any development in the village he has adopted under the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana, Bhagwant Mann said that the chief minister has actually ‘insulted’ the scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“I have adopted Benra village under the scheme launched by the PM, but now Badal’s statement has put a question mark over the scheme,” he said, adding, “As the CM thinks that the scheme will not bring any development, I am planning to shun the village after taking up the Reacting to Bhagwant Mann’s allegation that he was not invited by the chief minister during the sangat darshan in Benra village, which has been adopted by the former under the Adarsh Gram Yojana, Badal said, “I did not extend invitation to anybody but, being an elected representative, he could have come to any issue in Parliament in the coming budget session.”
“If I can’t do anything for Benra village, I want to ask the CM how Harsimrat Kaur Badal and SS Dhindsa will develop the villages they have adopted,” he village but he did not turn up.” “I don’t want to say anything about Bhagwant Mann, it is up to him to adopt or leave the village,” Badal said, adding, “Even I did not say anything about Congress MLA from Dhuri Arvind Khanna, who left midway without doing anything for the people.” added. Mann also flayed the CM for not inviting him to the sangat darshan in his Lok Sabha constituency, saying, “In future, I will oppose the sangat darshan if the chief minister does not invite me.”
