Patiala : Punjab Congress president Captain Amarinder Singh on Monday said that the Badals were welcomed to hold a rally in Patiala on Monday.

At the same time, he added he will chase them up to the last rally till they are thrown out of Punjab.

Reacting to the Badals’ decision to hold a rally in Patiala in response to his decision of holding a rally in Bathinda, Captain Amarinder Singh said, “They were trying to give the impression as if Patiala belonged to me and Bathinda belonged to them, which is not the case. For me, the whole of Punjab is my homeland and, unlike Badals, I don’t distinguish and discriminate against any area,” he said while pointing out how Sukhbir Badal had challenged him to hold a rally in Bathinda as if he (Sukhbir) had inherited the place as a matter of birthright.

The PCC president reiterated that wherever the Badals will go and hold the rally, the Congress will chase them everywhere. “Let me assure you that it will be a fight to the finish till you are not completely chased out of Punjab,” said the former Chief Minister.
