Now Amarinder takes YouTube route to connect with people

Bathinda: After condemning Prime Minister Narendra Modi for having ‘Mann Ki Baat’ through radio and Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for making an appeal for peace to the people of state through Radio and TV, now the Punjab Congress president Captain Amarinder Singh has himself resorted to exploit ‘YouTube’, the most popular media platform across the world to connect with the masses.

In his first message to the people of Punjab, Amarinder Singh explains his move saying (in Punjabi), “Ajj pehla din hai te main sochya c ke paheli war aap de naal eh gal karan taa ki main avde mann di gal tuhade kol pahuncha sakan.” (It is the first day and as it was in my mind to share things with you I opted to convey my feelings to you through this).

In the 1:40 min long video clip, Amarinder starts with expressing thanks to the AICC president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi for appointing him the PPCC chief. He, then assures that in the 14 months left for elections, he would put his best to take all along and jointly achieve success.

He further said that there were various issues in Punjab, of which his prime concern would be the employment to youth and upgrading the education level of the state schools. Captain Amarinder also claimed that giving priority to these two subjects he would form the manifesto.
