The NE, the party’s second highest decision making body, now has 30 members including five ex-officio members. All six members taken from Punjab are the first time NE members. Four other ex-officio members of party’s NE as representative of their respective state are Dilip Pandey (Delhi), Rajan Sushant (Himachal Pardesh), Prithvi Reddy (Karnataka) and Alok Aggarwal (Madhya Pradesh).
