Punjab Congress president Capt Amarinder Singh on Tuesday asked the SGPC to explain the “deficit of Rs 23 crore“ in Darbar Sahib accounts. He said it was shocking that Darbar Sahib was running in deficit despite a large inflow of devotees.

CHANDIGARH, September 4: Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Capt Amarinder Singh today asked the Chief Minister Mr Parkash Singh Badal and his Deputy Chief Minister son Sukhbir Badal to clarify their stand about the Sahajdhari Sikhs. Capt Amarinder asked, “let you tell people of Punjab whether you consider them Sikhs or not and if yes why are you opposed to their voting rights for SGPC”.

CHANDIGARH, September 3: Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee today released the lists of 17 different cells after being approved by the party incharge Mr Gulchain Singh Charak.
Each cell consists of a Chairman, Co-Chairman, scretary and ten member advisory committee.
