ANOTHER MOGA MAN MURDERED IN PHILIPPINES

JAGSIR SINGH, A NATIVE OF PATTI DAALI IN GHOLIA KHURD VILLAGE, WAS ATTACKED BY BIKEBORNE MEN.

MOGA: A 34-year-old businessman from a village in Moga district was shot dead in Manila (Philippines) on Wednesday evening. The deceased, Jagsir Singh, was a native of Patti Daali in Gholia Khurd village under Baghapurana subdivision, 37 km from the district headquarters.

Village sarpanch Gurdev Singh said Jagsir had been running a finance company as well as a cloth shop in Manila for the past eight years. Darshan Singh Gholia, president of the Akal Sahai Sikh Jathebandi, said Jagsir was attacked by motorcycle-borne masked assailants. There has been a spate of murders of men from Moga district in Manila over the past one-and-a-half years. All were financiers who were murdered.
