Sacramento (California) : Indian-American Sikh Balwinder Singh, who was arrested from his home in Nevada on Wednesday night for allegedly providing material support to terrorist groups in Punjab, has pleaded not guilty to all the charges, including conspiracy to kidnap, murder and maim persons in a foreign country.

Ramgarh (Bholath) : Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Partap Singh Bajwa today said his party would get a public interest litigation (PIL) filed in the Punjab and Haryana High Court through an NGO to demand a CBI probe into the Rs 6,000 crore synthetic drug racket. Speaking on the sidelines of a programme organised by PPCC spokesperson Sukhpal Khaira to mark the birth anniversary of his father Sukhjinder Singh, Bajwa said Bhola's allegation that three Punjab Cabinet Ministers were involved in the drug racket was startling.

26/11 victim wins right to sue Taj in UK court

LONDON: A British man who was left paralysed in the 26/11 attacks has won the right to have his case for damages against the Taj hotel heard in the UK. The high court accepted his plea on Thursday, conceding that taking his case through the Indian courts could take up to 20 years.
