HOSHIARPUR: A 17-year-old girl of Khanuara village was allegedly raped by a fellow villager.

In her complaint to the Mehtiana police, she said that on Thursday morning when she was waiting for a bus at the bus stop in the village, the accused Pawan Kumar came on his motorcycle and pointing a knife, asked her to accompany him.

She alleged that she was taken to a tubewell room in Badla village and raped. In the evening when she was released by the accused she informed her parents.

She informed that she was a student of class 11 in a school in Padhiana. Police have registered a case but the accused is at large.
