Two more test positive for swine flu in Ludhiana

LUDHIANA: Two more suspected cases of swine flu – a city resident admitted to Apollo Hospital, and another patient from Moga, under treatment at DMC Hospital here, have tested positive for swine flu.

With this the number of persons afflicted with the disease in this district has gone up to 21 while the viral infection has claimed six human lives here so far.

Dr Anil Verma, district epidemiologist said the swine flu victims had been isolated and preventive treatment was also being given to those who had come in contact with the patients.
