HOSHIARPUR: An attempt was made to rape a 7-year-old girl by two minors in a village in Hajipur on Friday.
The police arrested the two accused on Saturday and produced in a court that sent them to the juvenile home. A case under Section 376, 511 and 34 of IPC has been registered against them.
Victim's cousin reported the matter to the police. She said the children were playing together before the accused took the girl inside her house and molested her.
When the victim raised an alarm, the accused fled from the spot, the complainant alleged. The police said the accused were aged about 13years.
