Akali Dal has been converting into Affem Dal roared official spokesperson of PPCC Sukhpal Singh Khaira while addressing the Congress workers who thronged infront of district court complex in Kapurthala on on Monday to stage protest againt SAD-BJP government for patronising the drug trafficking in state that going to endanger the future of Punjab, quoating an example of free flow of drugs in Punjab Khaira said that a village named Makhdoompura in Amritsar where 90 per cent of ladies have become widow owing to drug additiction , he said.
Joginder Singh Mann, former MLA from Phagwara during his address said that SAD and BJP were equally complicit in ruining the Punjab and are equal partner in this mis-governance including drug trafficking , mafia rule , halqa incharge system, corruption and mis-management.
Rana Gurjit Singh MLA from Kapurthala flaying on SAD said that, dharnas of Akali Dal are being organised only to divert the attention of people from synthetic drug racket to shield Majithia from stringent provisions of NDPS Act besides the involvement of Majithia from aiding , abetting and facilitating multi crore synthetic drug racket where in Majithia was harbouring international criminals in his official capacity as a minister and provided them with his patronage and security, he added.
