Cong workers protest against bad condition of roads in Khanna

LUDHIANA: Members of Khanna district Congress Committee protested against pathetic condition of the roads in Khanna on Monday.
District Congress president Lakhvir Singh said, “Large number of members gathered during the protest against the pathetic condition of roads that were not repaired since last eight years. Members of the committee also presented a memorandum to the Khanna SDM Paramvir Singh.”
“A protest was also held in Payal on May 16 for the same cause. Potholes in both the areas have left residents in problems. We are also staging a protest on May 20 in Samrala for the same reason,” added Lakhvir.
