Pensioners without enough pensions is injustice:Cong

Jalandhar: Blaming the present government for providing the pensions to the pensioners, district Congress committee Jalandhar gives a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar on Monday at his office.
Congress district president Rajinder Beri said that all the pensioners are poor and fully dependent on the government relief, hence they should be paid according to the government norms.
He said, “for the last eight months neither old age persons, nor widows are receiving any pension and this is injustice with them as they are dependent on it.”
Deputy Commissioner assured them about the redressal of their grievances and asked SDM to look into the matter. He also assured them that within two weeks he matter would be solved.
