Ludhiana:The state government has played another cruel joke with old-age pensioners by just increasing their pension by Rs 50 per month from next month. At present, they get Rs 250 per month.

Muktsar : Arrested SAD leader Balwinder Singh “Pinder Sarpanch” of Chak Uttar Singhwala village has been booked in another case of land grab. Local SAD ex-Municipal Councillor Daleep Singh, local resident Shampy and nearly 15 unidentified persons have been booked in the case.

Muktsar : Violating the rules, the Youth Akali Dal (YAD) is holding its membership drive in government schools. One such membership camp was held in two classrooms of the Government Primary School at Fattanwala village, near here, today. The students were forced to sit outside. The membership camp that started around 10 am lasted till late in the evening.
