Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Capt Amarinder Singh today asked the Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Sing Badal to keep his advice to himself as he will need it soon after the assembly elections when Akali Dal will get decimated. He also snubbed the Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for his unsolicited advice about Anna Hazare.

Reacting to Sukhbir’s statement that he should launch ‘Congress Bachao Yatra, Capt Amarinder told him, “you need not worry about Congress as it has been there for 126 years and will continue be there for a long time, but start worrying about your own party which has already started decimating and disintegrating”.

The PCC President told him, Congress was safe and sound and he (Sukhbir) will realize it soon when it will sweep him out in the coming elections. “But you will certainly need your advice to yourself when the process of the disintegration of Akali Dal already started by your estranged cousin Manpreet Badal will reach its logical conclusion when your party will be wiped out of Punjab”, he told Sukhbir.

Having a dig also at the Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for his unsolicited advice to Congress to welcome Anna Hazare’s movement, the PCC President asked him (Mr Badal) whether he had any moral right to harp on Anan’s theme when he was himself mired neck deep in corruption. “The extent of corruption scandals your government is mired in like the transport, cable, liquor, sand mining and others will shame even the most corrupt man, not to speak of a well meaning person like Anna Hazare”, Capt Amarinder remarked, while advising Mr Badal to better keep quiet and keep away lest he gets embarrassed once Hazare learns about his (Mr Badal’s) reality.
