BSP general secretary MP Singh Goraya joins Congress

Senior Bahujan Samaj Party leader and party general secretary MP Singh Goraya, Rattan Chadha, Convener Beopar Cell, Dinesh Chander incharge Christian Welfare and Jaswinder Singh Jassi, convener Prajapat Samaj, today joined the Congress.

They were inducted into the party by the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Capt Amarinder Singh in presence of Punjab Youth Congress president Vikram Chaudhary and others.

Talking to reporters, they said, they had realized that the BSP was no longer a party that watched the interests of the dalits and poor and they have come to the conclusion that Congress was the only party that could safeguard the interests of all the sections including the Dalits.
