Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh today asked Parkash Singh Badal, who is set to take oath as CM on March 14, to rein in police officials, accusing them of victimising Congress workers to please their political masters.

The PPCC chief claimed he had received reports from defeated party MLAs across the state that their workers and supporters were being harassed and victimised by Akali workers and the police.

"This is absolutely unacceptable and intolerable", Amarinder said and warned against a possible “Congress backlash”

Washington : The Indian-American community in the US has urged the Trump administration to “fully support” India’s decision to revoke the constitutional provision that accorded special status to Jammu and Kashmir and to continue to exert pressure on Pakistan to end its support to cross-border terrorism.
