Chandigarh : “The CRPF personnel martyred in the Pulwama attack made the supreme sacrifice in the defence of the nation which would not forget their sacrifice and would always stand by their families through thick and thin. The martyrs would live forever in the hearts of people.”

These views were expressed here today by the Cooperation and Jails Minister, Punjab, S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa at the Milkfed office on the occasion of distributing cheques to the family members of the 4 martyrs of Pulwama attack who hailed from Punjab.

The minister further elaborated that Sanjeev Ahluwalia from Canada and his friends have contributed 3100 Dollars each to the family members of martyrs of Pulwama attack belonging to Punjab and besides this, the Milkfed has also given Rs. 20000 each to the families thus bringing the assistance rendered to the tune of more than Rs. 7 lakh. Earlier, the minister distributed cheques to the families of Martyr Constable Maninder Singh Attri, Constable Jaimal Singh, Constable Sukhjinder Singh and Constable Kulwinder Singh.

Among other dignitaries present on the occasion included the MD, Milkfed Mr. Kamaldeep Singh Sangha and other officers of Milkfed.
