CHANDIGARH : Punjab Congress president Partap Singh Bajwa today dared Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal to release the letter denying a special financial package to the state by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley last month. He said Badal had been “misleading” people by saying that the Centre had not denied the financial package and that he would pursue the matter with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said the UPA had empowered the people through the RTI and the Chief Minister could not suppress any information.
