CHANDIGARH: After keeping them in preventive custody for more than eight hours, the Chandigarh police released Punjab Youth Congress (PYC) president Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary, PYC general secretary Sukhwinder Singh Danny and four others, who were arrested on Wednesday afternoon while marching towards chief minister Parkash Singh Badal’s residence to stage a protest demonstration.
