NRI dies in Batala court complex firing

A Non Resident Indian (NRI) has died in the firing which took place at Batala court complex in Punjab. The killers have managed to escape after the brazen attack which took place in broad daylight.
According to reports, NRI Gurinder Singh received bullet injuries in the attack and died on the spot. There was chaos all around in the court complex after the incident.
Police reached the scene as soon as it received information about the crime and ordered the borders of the city to be sealed. However, no leads about the whereabouts of the shooters have been found.
Police are clueless about the reason behind the crime and are investigating the case from various angles.
