Intelius CEO Naveen Jain received a "Lifetime Achievement Award" at this year's prestigious Red Herring Global 2011 Conference for his continued leadership in the technology industry and his support of other entrepreneurs.
Intelius, an information technology company, was also recognized by Red Herring Magazine as a Top 100 Global company, placing it among the year's most forward-thinking private technology companies across the globe.
"Naveen Jain is one of the top CEOs in the information technology industry," Red Herring magazine publisher Alex Vieux stated in a press release.
"Naveen is a stalwart supporter of innovation and entrepreneurialism. His insights into technology and tenacious passion for making the world a better place are infectious. I am certain that he will continue to astound and electrify the entire industry for many years to come."
Jain has been awarded many honors for his entrepreneurial successes and leadership skills, including "Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year," the "Albert Einstein Technology Medal" for pioneers in technology, "Light of India Award" for Business Leadership, "Top 20 Entrepreneurs" by Red Herring, and "A Visionary for the 21st Century" by Leaders magazine.
In a keynote speech Dec. 6 at Red Herring Global 2011 in Los Angeles, Jain highlighted the role of entrepreneurialism and innovation in today's economy.
As an entrepreneur, Jain has been a pioneer in technology industry. He pushed new frontiers in the early days of mobile technology at InfoSpace, continues to lead innovation in information commerce at Intelius, and is pushing the final frontier in space exploration with Moon Express (I-W, May 6).
As a technology pioneer and visionary, the Indian American entrepreneur continues to expand on his mission to bring innovation and entrepreneurialism to all industries. Jain is leading innovative change across many sectors, including education and healthcare.
