Patiala man murdered in US

Patiala: Kashmir Singh Manesh, 43, belonging to Patiala, was reportedly murdered in California (US) on Thursday. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
The victim’s brother-in-law Harcharan Singh, a resident of Vidya Nagar near Punjabi Universit here, said they had been informed by their relatives in the US that Kashmir Singh, who owned a convenience store, was attacked by unidentified men.
Kashmir Singh suffered head injuries and died on way to hospital. Harcharan Singh said the assailants took away cash from the store. The victim, a truck driver, shifted to the US in 1995.
