Cabinet condoles Wisconsin gurdwara killings

Chandigarh: Punjab Council of Ministers on Tuesday mourned the unfortunate shoot out incident at Oak Creek Gurdwara in Wisconsin (USA) on August 6 in which six innocent Sikhs were killed.

The Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, here shared heartfelt sympathies with the members of bereaved families in the hour of crisis. The Cabinet also appreciated the US administration for extending all necessary logistic and diplomatic support in providing relief and succour to the families of the victims.

The Cabinet also observed two-minute silence in the memory of the deceased and prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed souls besides giving strength to the family members to bear this huge loss.
