BATHINDA: A Kabaddi player of visiting Canadian team has been found guilty of consuming banned drugs. It was disclosed in the report of National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) to the organizing committee of 3rd World Cup Kabaddi 2012.
This report has been reaffirmed by Shiv Dular Singh Dhillon, Director Sports. He said that Canadian player Varinder Singh Dhanoa has been found guilty and he was banned from the World Cup and the fine would be deducted from the prize money of the Canadian team.
It is noteworthy that the teams of NADA had till date collected 88 samples of players from different teams.
