Brampton City Centre honours Pawan Dewan

LUDHIANA: Ludhiana District Congress Committee (urban) president Pawan Dewan was on Wednesday honoured by the Brampton City Centre, Canada. Dewan is currently on a visit to Canada and the United States.
Dewan said he was quite impressed with the working of the Brampton City Hall which looks after the local government. He said, the councillors here worked for the full day and specific responsibilities are allocated to different councillors for efficient management of the day to day administration.
The Congress leader said there was so much for the Punjab Municipal Corporations to learn from the Brampton Model as it was more efficient and responsive with the duties and responsibilities divided amongst the councillors.
The function was hosted by Vicky Dhillon, who is a councillor in Brampton and attended among others by a large number of members of the Punjabi community living in Canada.
Among others present on the occasion included Amanpreet Aulakh, Jarnail Singh Grewal, Gurdeep Singh Judge and Gurpeet Aulakh.
