International aid to gurdwaras in UK and UAE by DSGMC

New Delhi : Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) president Manjit Singh GK, on Thursday released aid worth Rs 18 lakh for three gurdwaras in the UK and Dubai in keeping with the commitments he had made during his visit to these countries some time ago.
He had also assured these Gurdwaras that he would provide “ragis”, “granthis” and “pracharaks”.
Speaking in New Delhi on Thursday, Manjit Singh GK said that the gurdwaras in these countries were in financial difficulties because they were paying back loans that they had taken.
He spelt out details of the financial help provided to the gurdwaras in UK and Dubai.
The DSGMC has granted 5,100 pounds Gurdwara Guru Nanak Durbar in England, 3,100 pounds to Gurdwara Guru Nanak Ekta Society, Honolock Road, 3,100 pounds to Gurdwara Glasgow (under construction) and $11,000 to Gurdwara Nanak Durbar in Dubai.
