Chandigarh : At least three Union Ministers from Canada, including Tim Uppal, Bal Gosal and Manmeet Gosal, will be participating in the NRI Sammelan, an official press release said here today.

Also on list of invitees are seven MLAs, three Mayors, 32 journalists and 11 chiefs of gurdwara committees.

The list includes: Joe Daniel (MP, Canada), Jasbir Sandhu (MP, Canada), Nina Grewal (MP, Canada), Gurmant Grewal (ex-MP, Canada), Jinny Jogindera (MP) and Kanwaljeet Singh Bakshi (MP, New Zealand); Daljit Singh Dalliwal (adviser to PM, MP and president of Malaysian Punjabi Chambers of Commerce and Industries), Lord Diljit Rana Westminster, UK, Vic Dhillon (Member of Provincial Parliament, Canada), Peter Sandu, MLA (Canada), Harinder S. Washington : The Indian-American community in the US has urged the Trump administration to “fully support” India’s decision to revoke the constitutional provision that accorded special status to Jammu and Kashmir and to continue to exert pressure on Pakistan to end its support to cross-border terrorism.
