WELLINGTON: The wife of a Sikh man and her workmate have been charged with murdering him in New Zealand. Gurjinder Singh, 25, and Amandeep Kaur, 31, appeared in the Auckland high court on Wednesday to face the murder charge of 35-year-old Davinder Singh, New Zealand Herald reported.

LONDON: The group of 35 Afghan Sikh stowaways found in a container in Essex on a ship that arrived from Belgium on Saturday have claimed asylum in Britain, while the police on Tuesday identified one member of the group who died as Meet Singh Kapoor, 40.
