Qila Raipur rural games event popularly known as Rural Olympics – need branding and promotion at the international level. Jassi Khangura – the Congress candidate from this area is confident that this event can become the beacon to promote rural sports in Punjab.Since the event has all the ingredients of an international crowd puller, it is bound to become a hit on the global circuit. To make this happen, world-class infrastructure will need to be created at Qila Raipur.
Given some focused attention and sincere efforts, substantive investment for this event can be organized from government, NRI and private sector enterprises. The significant revenues generated from the event, tourism and other associated sources will ensure these investments enjoy market level returns.
