Bathinda : The two killing incidents taken place at Abohar (Fazilka) and Channu village (Muktar) on Friday rocked the nation’s politics on Monday with these cases being discussed in parliament. Ironically, in both cases the ill-fated persons, a 27-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl, belonging Scheduled Caste.

Abohar : Not satisfied with the police probe into the reported killing of Dalit youth Bhim Tank and attack on Gurjant Singh at a farmhouse, the National Commission for Scheduled Castes has summoned state ADGP (crime) and Principal Secretary (home) to New Delhi on December 17. The farmhouse belonged to Akali leader and liquor baron Shiv Lal Doda.
