MOGA: The district police late Monday recovered 4 gram heroin from a Toyota Fortuner SUV reportedly owned by Jaswinder Singh Sidhu, an Akali leader and state president of the ETT Teachers’ Union.

Bathinda : A Youth Akali Dal (YAD) leader opened fire inside the cantonment police station late last evening, injuring a constable. Wanted in numerous cases, he fled after the incident. The victim, Gursewak Singh of Gobindpura village, deployed as munshi, was rushed to the hospital.
