SHIMLA: Slamming the Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress party blamed the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government for Kashmir’s present situation. Congress claimed that “ideological incompatible alliance” of BJP and Peoples Democratic Party in Jammu and Kashmir is responsible for the mess.

All India Congress Committee (AICC) spokesperson Manish Tewari on Friday said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has failed to maintain communal harmony in the country and unrest in Kashmir is the latest example. “Ideological incompatible alliance is the reason behind the situation in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said while addressing the media here.

“BJP failed on the front of communal harmony because of patronage of RSS. Their idea of India differs from the idea of India written in the Constitution,” he added.

“Be it internal security or international relation, Modi government has failed on every front,” Tewari said. He added that every day, jawans are being killed, not only in Kashmir, but in Chhattisgarh and other areas as well. “This government has no road map to tackle this situation,” he added. Tewari said that naxalism is a big issue but government has no policy to battle it out.
