Sunil Jakhar meets PM Modi: Punjab Congress president Sunil Jakhar met PM Narendra Modi. He informed about the situation of farmers in Punjab, wants help from centre. On listening to the issue PM Narendra Modi assured to help him. Also, Jakhar offered him special oranges from Abohar.

In the morning, Assembly committee held meeting with farmer organizations. According to the information, the agenda for the meeting was about the farmer’s suicides and debt waiver. The assembly committee which has been formed will help to improve the situation of farmers. The number of suicides of the farmers are increasing day by day which obviously needs to be stopped. Assembly committee formed discussed regarding farmer’s suicides and debt waiver.
