AMRITSAR : Punjab local bodies minister Navjot Singh Sidhu on Wednesday said anyone found guilty of killing or engineering attack on innocent Sikhs during 1984 riots should be hanged in public.
Sidhu was responding to a media query following the release of a “sting” video against Tytler. “If anyone is guilty or anyone found to be guilty, he should be hanged in public, irrespective of his political affiliation or religious identity,” said Sidhu.”
“I also suffered this…. our Constitution says no discrimination on the basis of caste, colour and creed. May he belonged from anywhere or came from wherever, he has no right…., he should be hanged as per the law,” he said.
