Tript Bajwa orders to release incentives to water supply and sanitation motivators

CHANDIGARH: Water Supply and Sanitation Minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa has directed the officials of the department to release the pending incentives of the master motivators and motivators without any delay. The delegation of the motivators working under Swachch India, Swachch Punjab met the minister here on Thursday in his office at Punjab Civil Secretariat to discuss their demands. The minister issued orders to the senior officers of the department to conduct an inquiry into the matter and action must be initiated if any district or block level officer found deliberately delaying incentives of the motivators.

He asked the officers to submit the report regarding this within two days. It was also decided in the meeting that the Motivators would submit a district wise report with full details regarding their pending incentives to the head office of the department by March 1. The senior officials of the department assured that genuine pending incentives would be released within a month after the submission of the report by the motivators. During the meeting, Bajwa also appealed to the motivators to perform their duty with full sincerity and dedication and complete their targets before time. In addition, he also clarified that motivators would be continued on their performance.
