Defamation case: AAP leader Sanjay Singh to present before court today. The defamation case filed against Aam Aadmi party leader Sanjay Singh by Bikramjit Singh Majithia. The counsel of former minister Majithia filed application under section 311 of Criminal Procedure Code for deposing more evidence and witness in the court other than the present witnesses. Sanjay Singh to present before court in Ludhiana today.

According to the complainant, Majithia stated that the Sanjay Singh, a close aide of the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, was appointed as Incharge of Aam Aadmi Party Affairs before the 2017 Punjab vidhan sabha election and Singh in a motivated, malicious manner went around the state of Punjab in a targeted manner in a criminal conspiracy and connivance with his political masters of defaming and discrediting him with sole purpose of gaining political ground for his party by hook or crook.

The complainant further said that complaint against the accused Sanjay Singhis for making politically motivated scurrilous, false, derogatory, defamatory scandalous statements.
