MOHALI: Former union minister Preneet Kaur, who was here to attend public meetings at Karkaur and Bizanpur villages, levelled allegations against the SAD-BJP alliance for leaving the state in shambles with its destructive policies.

She said NK Sharma, Dera Bassi legislator, misused the power during the SAD-BJP tenure and managed to register numerous bogus votes in the constituency.
“With the help of these bogus votes, he won the assembly elections but the original voters gave mandate in favour of Congress candidate Deepinder Singh Dhillon,” she added.
Kaur said, “Instead of staging dharna in the state, Badals should gherao the Parliament and demand the centre to write off of its debt.”
Meanwhile, Congress leader Deepinder Singh Dhillon said that he was committed to the development of the constituency. He added that in April, public works department and Mandi board will build all the roads of the region falling under their jurisdiction.
