Chandigarh : Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh said the ISI had, for long, been active in Punjab and could be operating through Kashmiri students. On the recent arrest of Kashmiri youths from a private institute in Jalandhar, he said every student from Kashmir was not a terrorist and the police had so far not established any link of the arrested students with locals.

No move on fuel rates yet

On fuel prices, the CM said his government would wait till the end of this month before taking any decision in this regard, as the international prices of oil were fluctuating.

Washington : The Indian-American community in the US has urged the Trump administration to “fully support” India’s decision to revoke the constitutional provision that accorded special status to Jammu and Kashmir and to continue to exert pressure on Pakistan to end its support to cross-border terrorism.
