GURDASPUR: Welcoming the scheduled visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Gurdaspur on January 3, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president and Gurdaspur MP, Sunil Jakhar, on Saturday, asked the PM to address the security concerns of border districts of Gurdaspur and Pathankot.
Speaking to media here, the Congress leader said, “The Prime Minister should also reveal the measures taken by the Centre to counter possible ‘dangers’ to the national security that are likely to arise after the opening of Kartarpur Sahib corridor.”
The credit war over the Kartarpur corridor is expected to heat up once again with the PM’s rally.
