AMRITSAR : Amid controversy over Bollywood movie ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’, a biopic on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress MLA from Amritsar (West) Raj Kumar Verka on Saturday said that he is also planning to make a film to expose the incumbent Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Speaking to select mediapersons here, Verka said the movie on Manmohan Singh is conspiracy against the Congress. “Facts have been distorted in the script. The BJP has sponsored this movie with a motive to win the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, but it will never succeed in the motive,” he said.

“I am also preparing a script for a new movie which will be titled “Feku Prime Minister”. Shooting of this movie will start in the month of February. This movie will tell the truth and make the people aware of what was done by Modi in last five years,” he said.

Verka said the BJP wants to malign the image of Manmohan Singh who is respected by all countrymen. The status of the former PM will become taller.“BJP has funded the production of the movie and all the actors worked in the film are agents of the saffron party. This party got this movie passed by the The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) as the board is also under the control of the central government,” said the MLA.
