CM SANCTIONS ₹11 LAKH FOR ORPHANAGE IN FEROZEPUR

CHANDIGARH: Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday announced ₹11 Lakh for upgrade of educational infrastructure and sports facilities at the Arya Anathalya in Ferozepur.

The CM made the announcement while interacting with around 50 orphan students of the institute. He directed his officer on special duty (OSD) to coordinate with the orphanage for any future needs. The students had been invited by the chief minister to witness the Vidhan Sabha session.

Amarinder, while encouraging the institute’s students to work hard on their studies, also urged them to take up defence forces as career choice to serve the motherland. The chief minister asked the children about their experience of watching the assembly session live.

He also promised to meet them at their institute whenever he visits Ferozepur.
